Caterpillar Scheduled Oil Sampling (S.O.S.) Program is developed by Caterpillar expressly for Cat engines and equipment. We can offer 4 types of analysis for oil.

1. Wear analysis – with the use of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, monitors machine wear by detecting identifying and assessing the amount and type of wear elements found in used oil.
2. Oil condition analysis – with the use of Infra-Red Analyser, identifies loss of lubricating properties by quantifying combustion by products such as soot, sulphur and oxidation products.
3. Particle count – determine the quantity of particles in the oil by means of Particle Counter.
4. Physical tests – detects the physical presence of unwanted fluids such as water and fuel.
